Larson’s Toddler program is loving and nurturing where teachers assist with the child’s social, emotional and language development. The toddler is surrounded with age-appropriate toys and activities to encourage exploration and development. They can investigate bright colored objects and shapes, play dress up, practice somersaults on soft mats, chase a spongy ball, or build great structures with blocks or cuddle with their favorite blanket with their teacher. The children are encouraged to listen and to talk to their teacher in order to develop literacy skills.
During play time in the toddler and 2 year old classroom there are opportunities for many fun hours of play, that allow for:
- practicing jumping, climbing, tumbling
- learning creative skills in art classes
- learning to sort, and match and manipulate various toys.
